The product for this technique is called Mask Ease by Scratch-Art.  This stuff is a vinyl mask that you apply to a prepared screen for screenprinting, and it acts as your resist so you can screen through it.  I have some pictures of the process this time, to explain better.

The summer is defeating my quilting plans.</title><summary type='text'>Perhaps the best laid plans are the ones that go awry.  Not only did I have my entire 52 weeks of Techniques planned out, but I even thought that with this busy summer schedule I could actually get it all done.  I have been trying to get my techniques done in an agonizing manner.  I have been trying to keep up with them weekly and failing miserably, which was just making me feel bad about it.

Where have I been?</title><summary type='text'>Scandinavia! No, really!  My DH and I took our first vacation in 3 years and took a big trip to Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. Now, as far as quilting goes, I thought ahead and brought 2 weekly projects with me.
